Discuss on Facebook

I am an internet fanatic, a daily Twitterer, a web developer, and a true geek for God.

Can you relate?

The internet has become a vital part of our lives.  Daily 27 million tweets are tweeted 1, more than 8 billion minutes are spent on Facebook 2, and 242 million searches are registered on Google alone 3.  This current generation lives, breathes, and socializes on the web.

Have you changed your Facebook status today?

More than 45 million statuses have been updated today! 4

In order to recruit and mobilize this generation,  mission organizations depend on web developers.  These organizations need people who are willing to set aside hopes of working for Google, and embrace a unique role in missions.

These individuals need to bridge the gap between long standing mission organizations, and a generation infatuated with technology.

These individuals need to be life long learners, who are willing to stay on the cutting edge of technology, and help the organization integrate these technologies.

These individuals need to be creative juggernauts, able to solve problems, create new approaches, and think outside of the box.  We need missions imagineers!

Ultimately,  these individuals need to be passionate for God.  People willing to forsake earthly treasures, and seek to have God’s name glorified throughout the internet and the world.

We need people like you!  Are you willing to step up and make this happen?
