Spiritual Life
Retreats and mentored small groups are incorporated into Insight to foster spiritual growth, however Insight is by nature an academic program, not a discipleship program. In small groups, students have accountability and the opportunity to address heart issues of life, relationships, and calling. Students who thrive in Insight tend to already have established personal spiritual disciplines (quiet times, prayer, etc.) and have begun to walk out their faith in their lives. Students are expected to continue regular time with God and church fellowship while in the program, and are encouraged to pray and worship with other students.

Social Life
Insight coordinates field trips and informs students about upcoming events in Pasadena and L.A. Students can visit the beach, “ Old Town” Pasadena, and attend free concerts, lectures, and cultural movie nights. Students are often invited to homes of the missionary community and included in the larger community life.

Sports
On campus, there are tennis and basketball courts, an unofficial Frisbee golf course, a soccer field, exercise/dance studios, and a rec room. There are no organized teams, however “pick-up” games are common. The Eaton Canyon Nature Center and Rose Bowl are just a couple miles from campus, and are great places for hiking, walking, and biking.
