Dear Missionary,

How can your return from the field serve strategically to advance the work you just left? Take your pick.

Which of the following four areas best suits you?

1. Strategy
The most important work of the USCWM is collecting, refining and promoting strategies to help your work on the field lead more effectively to a "people movement" to Christ. Come get academic credit while refining your own insights, tackling a research project of special interest to your agency, or learning from others in one of our institutes (Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Tribal, Nomadic, etc.) Note: these institutes are in various stages of development.

2. Mobilization
Multiply yourself by helping spread vision, passion and wisdom, perhaps at a denominational level. Your own field may benefit as you multiply those who will one day follow in your footsteps.

3. Training
As you've undoubtedly seen, zeal without knowledge can do more harm than good on the mission field. If your gifts fall in the training area, help us extend the effectiveness and availability of appropriate education to missionaries, national leaders and local pastors throughout the world.

4. Services
The three areas of focus above are supported by other strategic services such as communication, administration, accounting, technical support, plant maintenance, etc. At the USCWM your skills and experience in these areas can serve strategically while you gain a broad, informal education in current issues facing the global mission effort.

Continuing Education
Regardless of where you fit best here, you'll find that the U.S. Center for World Mission provides unique exposure to what God is doing throughout the world. Because the USCWM focuses on multiplying the effectiveness of others, we are constantly interacting with a steady flow of visiting missionaries and Christian leaders about what God is accomplishing and what needs to change around the world. A season of service at the USCWM will provide you a lifetime's worth of relationships and exposure to the breadth of the mission effort.
