ATTN: Perspectives Grads!
You've taken a big step toward maximizing your effective involvement in advancing God's kingdom. Are you ready for the another step?
In Perspectives, the introductory missions course of the U.S. Center for World Mission, you "scratched the surface" of available mission insights and found your life changed.
Now do you focus on
running with what you have learned? or
pressing on to learn more?
Why not do both! Since 1976 select Perspectives alumni just like you have banded together in Pasadena, CA to continue learning while designing and implementing strategic mission advances. One result is a lot more insight than can be distilled in a single Perspectives class. Another is the continued multiplication of strategic opportunities to improve the overall mission effort—opportunities which are most often unrealized because of staffing shortages in this quiet, behind-the-scenes well-spring of mission insight and activism.
Come, EXPLORE what the USCWM has to offer you, or sign up to get your next degree studying the distilled insights of the mission effort.
Hopefully, Perspectives whetted your appetite for more insight and more impact. If so, you owe it to the Lord and to yourself to seriously consider a term of service with the USCWM.
- You'll not find a more like-minded (or more challenging) community.
- You'll not find a more stimulating environment.
- You'll not likely find a more significant opportunity for service.
A fire is both brightest and hottest where the coals most effectively reinforce one another. That describes, at least in part, the U.S. Center for World Mission. Anywhere else in the U.S. you can be one more person applying a few of the many resources the USCWM has created or stimulated. Or you can join us in refining and applying additional key insights to more effectively stir the whole body of Christ.
Valuable service roles in the Perspectives movement do exist outside the Pasadena headquarters. But don't assume your natural inclination to invest in spreading the Perspectives movement where you are reflects your most important opportunity, either for growth or impact. Remember that God can't use facts you don't have to guide you effectively. Take the time to consider the strategic choice hundreds of other Perspectives alumni have made to work together on the most fundamental problems of the mission effort.
