We place top priority on gathering and sifting mission field insight for the benefit of the global mission effort. If you have mission field experience or you wish to serve or learn from those who do, we invite you to join us. You can learn a great deal here, informally or for undergraduate or graduate credit.

Video is an increasingly fun, accessible and important tool for communicating new insights about missions.
Publishing
Tremendous new insights are flooding back from the mission field. Publishing is a strategic part of getting this information into the right hands. Our Mission Frontiers magazine has an international circulation of over 85,000. We operate a book publishing company, offer a degree in publishing science, and can make effective use of skills in every facet of publishing and communications.
Computer
Within the larger USCWM complex a number of cooperating organizations utilize about 300 computers in the advance of God's kingdom. (These are split about 1/2 Windows and 1/2 Macintosh.)
These offices are increasingly dependent on computer technology, and face expanding opportunity as technology continues to advance.
While demands on the USCWM's computer department have been growing, its staff has been reduced through health problems and departures to pursue schooling and other ministry.
In addition to normal technical support and system and Email administration, we need help setting up a firewall, structuring a Windows network to serve 40 separate organizations, and revising our web site. We also have a variety of Filemaker-based cross-platform programming projects.
Web Design
Almost every facet of USCWM ministry could be enhanced with a more effective web presence. Projects you can help with now.
Administration
Innovative environments are often challenging for those with managerial giftings. Yet managerial giftings are essential for organizational effectiveness The USCWM needs experienced managers who can tolerate ambiguity and help missionaries effectively prioritize their work amidst a flood of strategic opportunities.
Secretarial
All of our members could be more effective with the support of servants who delight to take care of the details.
Accounting
As we attempt to develop accounting solutions more appropriate to the peculiarities of missions, we are in need of bookkeepers and accountants with a grasp of underlying accounting principles and a willingness to try out new ways to achieve standard results.
Graphics
Having the right information is of little value if it is not packaged in a way that motivates people to consider it. Graphic skills play an essential role in our organization.
Teaching
Recognizing the tremendous damage to our society of conventional schooling, the USCWM integrates mission field and international insights with a missionary perspective and home-schooling values in an innovative effort to improve the preparation of children for effective service in God's kingdom. The result is William Carey Academy.
Other
Any skill used on a college campus can be put to good use here, from gardening to teaching. Specific skills are needed as well as willing learners and laborers.
